The Historical Museum of Tracadie is outstanding because it is the only museum in Canada to present an outline of what a leper hospital would look like at that time, which is the 19th century.

• Heritage footpath and leper cemetery

One can view photos, a pharmacy specializing in such care, as well as various objects having belonged to lepers. Also, Micmac artifacts, period costumes and religious objects are part of the display.

This museum also wants to pay tribute to the Religieuses Hospitalières de Saint-Joseph.
